How To Easily Do 3,000 Pushups

Today, Feb 1st 2010 the 3,000 Push Up challenge has begun. 
Your challenge is to perform 100 push ups every single day for 30 straight days. At the end of one month you will have completed 3,000 Push Ups!
The goal is to start where you can today, perform a fit test with standard width pushups. See how many you can do at one time and when your form starts to fail, stop and record how many you did.
Today I reached 40 push ups with a goal to do as close to 100 push ups at once towards the end of day 30 as possible! What’s your goal?
